Waxhead works with community groups throughout the US to teach kids how to be safe in the sun. These Sun Safety worksheets and activity sheets offer support to teachers, parents and youth group leaders in elementary school and middle/high schools.
The benefits of sunlight are undeniable. Healthy lifestyles, both young and adult, include as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors. But too much unprotected sun exposure can cause sunburn and skin cancer, and it’s important to use proper protection to stay safe in the sun.
The educational materials available for download below, as well as these information links, are intended to introduce both students and teachers to the facts of true sun safety.
