Very creamy and easy to put on. Looks a bit nasty and chunky both in the tube and on your lips. I try to smooth it out but smacking my lips but the white settles in on the lines of your lips and makes it look like you’re sickly. In order to remedy this I lightly dab my lips with some lip stick to bring a little color back to my lips so I dont look like a zombie
My lips burn quickly when exposed to sun. I’ve tried other lip products with spf but they still burn. Using this product saved my lips while in the blazing sun for extended periods of time. It is white, but it’s ok with me because it worked so well!

It is very stiff and hard to apply to my lips. I think it will be much better in the summer.

Loving it! Florida user here! The peppermint is not overbearing like typical peppermint flavored chapstick and feels really nice when the sun is beating down especially out on the boat, I reapply for that cooling factor not even because I really had to. My lips are protected and moisturized all day

I purchased this for our FL trip. Wow-it is great! You do not need much to keep your lips protected and it keeps your lips soft and smooth.
My lips burn whenever I go to the beach. I tried the product because it has zinc and the pictures show it leaves a white barrier. It definitely left a white film on my lips but unfortunately my lips still burnt. I reapplied continuously. Very disappointing to have spent $25 on it.**UPDATE**My initial review was a 1 star. However after more thought I'm changing it to a 3. While my lips still burned it was much less than without the product.

Zinc Oxide Lip Balm
It may work well but is very difficult to apply and doesn’t spread evenly. I only used it once because of this
I have this lip balm and a Badger lip balm. I never reach for these and always the other one. Unfortunately didn't decide to return them in time. This one is kind of chunky and has an unpleasant mint flavor. I prefer unflavored but that wasn't an option. Unfortunately I bought these first so didn't know I could get an unflavored zinc oxide option from Badger.
Had cancer detected on my lip. Needed a lip sink oxide lip balm. This product is great.
The product is hard and chalky and as a result doesn’t glide onto your lips easily. In fact I found I have to remove some balm with the edge of the lid and then soften it with my fingers and apply that way. If it try to glide the balm across my lips very little balm is deposited and it just hurts and tears. Maybe the product would benefit from some lubricating natural oil added.I do like the fact the block is high level SPF as I have had precancerous lesions on my lips (actinic keratosis). The zinc oxide which is in this product, is known to be excellent at deflecting harmful UV rays.

Excellent. Zinc oxide seals in moisture and protects from sun and damage.Search Amazon for the highest % insunscreen, diaper rash creams,hand cream, wound care etc..You will notice immediately that it is thicker and harder to remove.
While this has a bit of a chalky texture, I combine with aquaphor. This is a fantastic lip protectant combination.

This sun screen for the lips feel great, protects even while I'm sweating through a pickleball match, and is truly safe for our coral reefs. I won't buy products that contain reef damaging ingredients anymore - even if I won't be swimming near reefs - we just can't support any manufacturing that includes those chemicals that are harmful to the planet.

It's not easy to find zinc oxide in a lip balm. It rolls on smootly and covers thickly. Flavor? no zinc oxide can be made to have a pleasant flavor.
I've learned to not apply it directly to my lips the way I do with regular chap sticks, it gets all melty in my pocket, and leaves big lumps on your lips if you put it on directly
