Reef-Safe Tinted Zinc Sunscreen Paste for Face

Only used it for two days.. but I have super sensitive acme rosacea skin and so far it is working great to not only protect but add an extra layer of moisture which has assisted in peeling off some of the troubled skin areas I have been healing up with just medicines… thank you wax head for creating a product with simple effective ingredients. Any tinted lip balms or lipsticks in your future?

Love the faint tint to the wax paste. The scent of cocoa is just right!

I’m allergic to something in sunscreens and haven’t been able to figure out what after trying soooo many products. This works. And, the tiny doesn’t make you look pasty. Love it. Very easy to apply as well. Not grimy and sticky like others.

I love the non-tinted version and use it every day. It is so pure and effective so I was looking forward to trying the tinted version. It probably works just as well but the color was horrible. It looks like death or a pink hued muddy cement! Just awful. Only get it if you don’t mind looking like a corpse.

Delivered on time and in good condition. I really like the little tins the sunblock comes in. Makes it very convenient to take with me. It is a bit thick and hard to rub in. I purchased a different sunblock for my face because this did cause minimal break outs for me. However I still use it for other parts of the body.

I like the 5 pack, I put one in each of the cars, and on the boat. When it is inside with AC is is pretty solids, be when it get warm it so super soft and spreadable.

My kids loved the “chocolate” smell of the tinted version and we didn’t have any burning on the day we used it. Also, if you are looking to reduce the plastic in your life, you will love the metal tin. It screws together well and had no leakage problems.

The tins are a great choice for keeping in my purse so I can apply to the backs of my hands when driving.

love the smoothness

I wore this on my face and neck for a 10 day Caribbean cruise, and did not get burnt. The only problem is I found it impossible to apply unless in front of a mirror with at least 5 minutes to spread it around. Verrry viscous. I even found if applied to a partially burnt area rubbing is so intense it initiated peeling. Apparently they make a thinner one.

Very useful, pocket sized cannisters

My kids wear UV swim shirts and hats, so these work well for covering noses, hands, tops of feet. If you are looking to cover your kid in sunscreen from head to toe quickly - this is not the product for you. It's very thick, needs some warming up to spread. It stays on pretty much all day. We haven't done any swimming with the product yet, but I am guessing it'll stay on well. I was looking for a non-toxic option for sunscreen. You do have to work harder to put this on and spread it, but I am trying very hard not to use the kinds of sunscreens that can cause cancer just like the damn sun. I like that I could put a tin of this stuff in every spot and have some available. The tins are really small, so it turns out to be sort of expensive. It's worth it to me, and I will buy again. ***The color is tinted, and the shade is a beige-gray. It's not going to match your skin tone. It's especially not going to match if you have black or brown skin. This doesn't bother me because I don't care if it's bright white or neon-colored. I look like a very old, very salty lady at the beach, with a huge hat, huge sunglasses, and a flowery beach cover-up. It's fine. But if you're looking for something that disappears onto your skin, it sort of does, but it doesn't. Probably "disappears" better than the bright white zinc creams. I like it. But bc there is such a wide range of skin tones in the world, the company would probably need to offer at least a lighter and darker option. Also, the smell is mild, coconut-y, pleasant.
